Oh, and yes it does feel like you want to shove something up their butt but remember, if you want to have your own business, youre going to be doing the hiring too and people may feel the same way about you, lol. so if that happens, just try to straight forward with the people who come to you for a position. Maybe youre going through this so that YOU can know how to treat people the right way since you already know how much it hurts.

What you fail to understand is the fact that its not just YOU who's going for these interviews. The MOMENT you graduated from college you should have understood that there are at least a 1000 others who have majored in the same field as you and you are literally battling against them for the first position that is offered.

Saying that youre going to get revenge and tear that company down, only shows me that maybe it was for the best that they didnt hire you if THIS is how bitter and vengeful you are going to be. There is nothing cool about destroying someone's company becuase then they will be out of the job with no way of supporting themselves or their families. NOT COOL!

When they say that they 'like' you and 'look forward' to you working for them, yes alot of times it sounds like they are rooting for you to come, but most of the time, they say these sugar-coated things so that they wont upset you or offend you becuase i'm sure they feel bad for calling you up there but then it turns out it was for nothing. NOw i do think its wrong for them to just make you assume or keep having hope that you will get a spot, they should just tell you up front that you didnt meet their requirements so that you can move on and go somewhere else.

I know how you feel though, i've been to interviews that made me feel like crap. I tried to apply for this position in the hospital dietary area and i bent over backwards doing all kinds of work to try to get them to notice me and no matter how much i called back to wonder what my status was, they either avoid me or tell me that they are still looking. After a while, i just stopped, it would have been hella nice if they told me that i didnt make it. but the next thing i knew, the most incredible job found ME!! SO i'm glad as hell that i didnt get the job at the hospital.

However i was laid off but everybody thinks i'm going to be called back, but i applied for JC penny and they actually wanted THREE interviews which was really nuts! so they made me come up there THREE times for a five minute interview and i didnt get the job and it really really really hurt me becuase i wasted so much time and energy on a job that didnt even want me in the first place. THREEEEEE interviews!! ridiculous!

Maybe its also for the best that you didnt get hired by THIS particular company, maybe you would have had a terrible boss, too much work given. maybe the wrong people are there. who knows. maybe its not the right timing right now. Just becuase you jumped out of college doesnt mean a job is ready right in front of you. gotta keep trying.
